The dark color signals that
the day is almost over. This fine tapestry is woven of 10%
cotton and 90% sheep wool, colored using dyes from the cochineal
insect. The tapestry can be beautifully hung on the wall using
two thin wood dowels or thin wood panels stretched across the
top and bottom ends of the tapestry. An equally impressive,
albeit a bit more expensive, solution is to use a stretched wood
frame. Either way, the tapestry makes for an elegant visual
centerpiece. |
