It
is well known that Christian religion is a predominant element
in the cultural life of the Andes. Religious celebrations are
amongst the most popular ones in Peru and faith and rituals
are part of everyday life. Christmas’, of course, is one of
the central festivities. The circular patchwork
includes a number of typical rural images and, also, one that

process of production is the following: first, pieces of cotton or cloth wool are stitched
