Amazing traditional
peruvian scene! The Market is a beautiful arpillera patchwork,
completely handmade in Peru. The characters and objects have
been stuffed with cotton and sewn to the arpillera, creating a
unique 3D effect. Look at all the details that are shown :
different fruit, vegetables, yarn, baskets made with straw,
clothing, musical instruments, peasant women, etc etc, it is
really wonderful. Many hours were needed in order to produce
such work, completely handmade. It has a crochet rim. Bright
colors and beautiful details make of this work a unique piece of
folk art ! |
