These lovely pencil cases show hand-made
animal motifs in a style typical of Chan –Chan, a citadel made
by Chimú, a culture previous to the Incas (1300-1462). The
material used in the manufacturing of this product is Yute, a
cloth that is done using the internal cortex of some plants. It
was made by the artists from Casa Betania, a non profit
association that brings together women artisans. Ideal for
storing pen, pencils or any similar items, this product will
bring Andean culture closer to your writing desk. |
