Felix sees
Internet as a great opportunity and believes that taking advantage of it is a
necessity. “I don’t want to stay behind other artisans that adapt
themselves to this new technology. The idea of having a closer relationship
with collectors and final customers is fascinating. The possibility of
achieving world wide availability for my products, of taking them to other
markets, is a dream make truth.
Felix Vargas
is 19 years old. He was born in Lima but the technique he uses comes from
Andahuaylas, an Andean region from Peru. The motifs that he reproduces also
come from that region. He learned in workshops and today he produces
extraordinary objects that combine the aesthetic and the practical beauty.
